We sell fun stuff and

try to do good things.

At Worthling, we miiiiiight be just a little depressed. But we're pretty sure we're not alone. Our Earth seems to get darker and darker and life gets harder and more confusing for everyone on it. Our remedy? Fill our printed products and the place we sell them (aka this website) with a reassuring mix of whimsy and art and oddly cheerful gloom.

We're here to celebrate what's good in life, stand up for what's important, and reassure (or at least commiserate) about the parts that maybe lightly -or not so lightly- suck.

We want to cheer you up with a coffee mug or a t-shirt, give something back whenever we can, and tell the truth about the world out there and the people on it. It's not much, but it's what we can do for now.

In case you didn't notice: We believe that brown & black lives matter, science is real, women’s rights are human rights, and love is love.  And we're obnoxious about it. If that's not your thing, we're probably not your thing.

Karen Simpson

(that's it, just the one person

for now)

I'm Karen Simpson and I do the website, social, art, in-house production. I take credit for the funny but also for the cringe. I make art and try to survive my days with ADHD, various mental disorders, and two young kids (Luke, 6 and Jack, 3) at home during a pandemic.

Do I enjoy being a walking meme (that is, a middle aged white mom named Karen)? Sure... it equips me with rare superpowers in the eternal campaign against Karen behavior. For I am both the Karen and the anti-Karen. How many people get to be a walking paradox?
